Since 1937, the Maryland House & Garden Pilgrimage has been hosting spring house and garden tours around the state, with the proceeds from each tour awarded to a special project of architecturally historic significance in that community. Last year the MHGP partnered with 6 communities to award $110,000 to nine projects.
