Deborah Gangloff, Executive Director, holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. She is a seasoned nonprofit manager with over 30 years’ experience as an executive director in both the natural and cultural resources conservation area. She spent 27 years with American Forests in Washington, DC, and 8 years as President & CEO of the Crow Canyon
Deborah Gangloff, Executive Director, holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. She is a seasoned nonprofit manager with over 30 years’ experience as an executive director in both the natural and cultural resources conservation area. She spent 27 years with American Forests in Washington, DC, and 8 years as President & CEO of the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center in Colorado. Deborah joined Captain Avery Museum in 2018 and lives in Southern Anne Arundel County with her husband.
Vicki Lerch, Curator, graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and worked in Public Health in Prince Georges county. She married John J. Bernard Lerch III in 1966. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.She became a volunteer at Historic London Town and Gardens in 1984 and worked as docent, educator and collections assistant. She

She then became the volunteer coordinator and then curator. She has also volunteered with Anne Arundel County archaeology. She retired from her post at London Town Foundation in 2019.
Donna Anderson, Program and Communications Coordinator, attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and has had a long career in marketing and advertising as an Art Director. She has expertise in planning events, coordinating programs, and managing venue rentals, especially in the non-profit sector. Donna lives in Calvert County with her h
Donna Anderson, Program and Communications Coordinator, attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and has had a long career in marketing and advertising as an Art Director. She has expertise in planning events, coordinating programs, and managing venue rentals, especially in the non-profit sector. Donna lives in Calvert County with her husband, Jay Anderson. Also known as 'Dr. Jay', her husband has published three books, teaches art classes, and has lectured three times at the museum.

Previously she worked at the Maryland Historical Society (now the Maryland Center for History and Culture) where she managed the operations of the museum store.
