Well-behaved, leashed dogs and their responsible owners are welcome to enjoy our grounds. Only service animals are allowed inside our building. To know if your pet is allowed at an outdoor event, please call 410-867-4486.
We collect only information that is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service. Your personal information is never given or sold to third parties.
Refunds for event registrations are only offered if an event is cancelled by Captain Avery Museum. Donations are non-refundable. Sales of books or artwork are non-refundable.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent while on museum property.
Firearms, knives, and destructive devices are not allowed on the property.
Our pier is open to the public year-round from dawn until dusk, unless otherwise stated. Use of the pier is at one's own risk.
Smoking of any tobacco products or any e-cigarette or vape devices is prohibited on the property. No outside alcohol is permitted on Captain Avery Museum property except when part of a venue rental and the proper liquor license has been procured.
