Our winter giving campaign begins on Giving Tuesday on December 3rd.

We invite you to be a part of Captain Avery Museum's Winter Giving Campaign, which kicks off the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Your end-of-year contributions will help us continue to preserve and enhance our community's cultural heritage in 2025.

The Captain Avery Museum is a vital and inclusive learning center that engages and inspires the surrounding communities to value our history and preserve Shady Side’s maritime and recreational history.

We are proud to continue in our quest to showcase native and sustainable landscapes, provide public water access and offer inclusive and accessible educational programming, exhibits and events.
