FREE Moth Lighting Family Night

Did you know that Maryland has over 2,600 moth species? Guided by Naturalist Kerry Wixted, we'll use a lighted screen to attract moths and have fun using field guides to identify and learn about these fascinating creatures. Learn more about Kerry's work here. 

Stay up a bit past bedtime and enjoy a summer night at CAM! Starting at 8:00 PM, we'll have bake sale items for purchase and activities for kids, including moth antennae headbands and moth crafts. Moth lighting and talk will take place at dusk, approximately 8:30 PM.
