Captain Avery Museum will host a special screening of the documentary Eroding History.
This 27-minute documentary tells the story of two communities on Deal Island, on Maryland's Eastern Shore, at the intersection of sea level rise, historic racism, and the disappearance of Black communities. Watch the trailer on YouTube.
Produced by Rona Kobell, co-founder of the Environmental Justice Journalism Initiative, and directed by André Chung.
Join us at Captain Avery Museum for the screening; doors open at 9:45 am. Or click Watch from Home to watch on Tuesday, April 23 at 10:00am.
This screening is made possible by the Maryland Commission for Environmental Justice and Sustainable Communities.
