This show features Dr. Sally Ride, America's first female astronaut and its youngest. Learn about her journey and its challenges, and play a fun game of “Who Wants to be an Astronaut?”

Toomey will present his travel memoir which is richly illustrated and filled with practical advice for those planning their own adventure and armchair travelers alike.

Maryann Cusimano Love, Associate Professor, The Catholic University of America

Maryann Cusimano Love is an associate professor and the IPR Fellow of International Relations at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Cusimano Love will examine the ongoing Ukraine-Russian crisis. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and learn the personal stories of community members from Ukraine and enjoy Ukrainian honey cake!

Kathy Bergren Smith, Maritime Reporter and Photojournalist

Kathy Bergren Smith returns to chronicle the harrowing tale of the Levin J. Marvel schooner and the Chesapeake Bay's worst maritime tragedy in the modern era. Smith constructs her story from eye-witness accounts of survivors and rescuers, a miraculously recovered diary, as well as newspaper coverage and trial records.
